ACURE: Radically Rejuvenating Cleansing Cream
I am always looking for a great face wash! I found this at Whole Foods and wanted to try it. I have been using it for a few weeks and I think it’s ok. I was hoping with it being a cream cleanser, it would be more hydrating…but not so much.
Pros- Water is one of the first ingredients, so it is more hydrating than other’s I have tried. Aloe Vera is in it too, which is good for hydrating, inflammation, anti-aging. Decent price point @ $10. ACURE is a family owned and operated company founded on sustainable principles to provide the highest quality natural and certified organic personal care which is great! I like that they keep their products pretty clean and they still can offer visible results, that the other more toxic brands.
Cons- Vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, phthalate free, mineral free, petroleum free, silicone free and cruelty free. Argan Oil and Mint are an interesting combo. (Not my fave scent). I found this not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. I think this would be good for normal to combination skin. My skin felt clean, but just not enough hydration.
Overall it was nice, just not what I was looking for. I need more hydration in my skin cleanser. I will finish the product up, but will not purchase it again. I will def try other products from this brand. When learning about using more cleaner, toxic-free products…it can be overwhelming and I am constantly learning about what to avoid etc. Hope you are learning through this process with me.
