Aloe Vera

The Aloe Vera plant is a cactus plant that comes from the Liliaceae family and has been used medicinally for a very long time in Ancient cultures. Not only do these plants look beautiful, they also have some amazing benefits, especially in the summer!

Take a fresh piece from the plant and cut a piece off, make sure to rinse it off with water first then get the juicy, gel like substance in the center.

Here are some uses for Aloe…

*Sunburns- Do you know fresh aloe is good to use on sunburns and it feels so cool and refreshing after your skin has been torched by the sun!

*Inflamed skin/Acne- helps reduce inflammation by stimulating new cells to grow.

*Men can use this as an After-shave- helps with irritated skin after the skin has been broken.

*Helps with digestion and keeps things flowing, for this I like to use fresh aloe juice!

*Moisturizes the skin without feeling heavy. It contains Vitamin E, C and Beta Carotene, so it also helps with anti-aging!

*Removal of eye makeup.

*Shaving Gel for the body.

*You can use this for a face scrub, mixing baking soda and aloe vera.

*Eyebrow gel to keep hairs in place.

*Hair Conditioner-helps with elasticity and prevents breakage.

Hope you enjoyed!
