Eat your veggies for beautiful skin!

Did you know what you put into your body directly affects how your skin looks? If you eat unhealthy foods and consume too much of anything , your skin will show it. In turn, just being aware of what you’re consuming will benefit your health in many ways. Here are just a few foods that can make your skin look it’s best!

Salmon:

This fish is great for your skin! It’s rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which is amazing for our bodies. The orange color in veggies can be somewhat of a guide to keep your skin tone radiant! Carrots and sweet potatoes are high in vitamin A and vitamin C  which fights wrinkles and improves skin tone.

Lemon:

Lemons many uses and is loaded with vitamin C. You can use lemon as an exfoliation to heal acne and blackheads and fade dark spots. Drinking it daily will help your body flush out toxins. Another cool use for lemons is to apply before bedtime with a cotton ball and the next day your skin will be less oily!

Greens:

Spinach/Kale/Swiss Chard are loaded with beta carotene. They have major anti-oxidant properties that help with skin renewal. Spinach contains folate, this helps repair  DNA and improves  skin tone and help your skin look it’s best .

Tomatoes:

These fruits contain Lycopene. Lycopene helps get rid of free-radicals that reduce moisture in the skin. Preventing moisture loss is essential, as we age! These yummy fruits help fight acne too.
