Glowing Skin
Products
Make sure to keep skin very hydrated and exfoliated! You know I love coconut oil! That is an excellent one to use as moisture prep.
A few items that can give a nice glow is Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. I like the colors Moonstone and Pearl. Another nice, easy to use product is NARS Multiples in Copacabana (L), Orgasm(M) or South Beach (D) or if your skin tone is really deep, Malibu looks amazing!
Eyes
Purple lids seem to be a trend. Orchid, Lillac and Lavender. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Endless Purple is very pretty and is a good price point.
Blue shadow/liner is another trend we are seeing for the spring. Keep the color neat, from lash line to crease. Make sure to keep the rest of your makeup simple and pretty. Soft pink shades are flattering with this color combo. Maybelline Master Kajal Kohl Liner in Lapis Blue is a nice shade for this trend. Keep it simple and don’t go overboard.
Metalic eyes are a good easy trend to follow for spring. Keep it on the lid and don’t bring it too high on the lid. Depending on your eye lid area…it can make you look like you were socked in the eye, if you go too far up. NARS DUO eyeshadow in Jezebel is a great deal; it has a sable color and a lavender color! So you can do a few trend colors!
Lips
Soft berry lips are always so pretty, no matter what the time of year. Especially when we are ready to start seeing flowers bloom are looking to see more color outdoors after this harsh winter! This color selection is always in and is a great way to freshen your look! Make sure to prep your lips first with a nice rich balm. I really like Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, especially with how dehydrated our lips can be now. I really love this lip liner by MAC – Half-Red! This is a pretty color you can wear natural and blot really good and it will leave a nice stain or you can add any pretty lipstick over to make it have more intensity!
Bright orange lips are also a trend for the spring. Make sure to not overload the rest of your face with color elsewhere because you want the makeup clean and polished.
Revlon ColorBurst in Coral is a beautiful color. Another great color in the coral/orange family is NARS Matte Multiple’ Lip & Cheek color in Siam.This is gorgeous! A bonus is you get a fresh pretty cheek color too for the spring/summer. IMAN has a color called Hot in her Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick line. An amazing range of bright colors, I may add.
